this game is gonna be epic when people really get their head around the mechanics

Indeed. There's a lot of depth to the gameplay for sure.

I love the Drakes falling through a floor attack....hilarious..yet true!

I think 1vs1 and 2vs2 will be the most intense

The game seems best suited for FFA style battles.

well to each their own. But definitely not the majority opinion from what I have seen far. I have played all of these types of matches (1vs1 thanks to two others bugging out lol) ..much more intense and fun to me. Playing 2vs2 online with a friend is just a whole new level of fun. I had the chance to play that mode with quite a few on this forum and it was great.

but yea..to each their own. We also have other modes that we haven't gotten to see much yet so who knows.

@Aura: I don't think the intro will change to be honest BUT SuperBot have said that when they add dlc characters they will have ALL the things the initial roster has. So I take this to mean everything from a story to unlockable taunts/intro music/main menu themes/chibi partners etc etc

It's not really a matter of opinion, I just think that's what the mechanics of the game lend themselves well to.  A lot of characters seemed to have moves with very large hitboxes and slow start up that would not be much use in 1v1 but would be well suited for multiplayer battles.  Take for instance Kratos' spear charge attack. It makes a good mobility option in FFAs where you could use it to attack an opponent who might be occupied with other things, but it would be far too slow to be useful in a 1v1 where your opponent is always focused on you.  Likewise with the bulk of Jak's attack, which are a bit too slow to use as viable projectile options in most 1v1 situations, but could be really disruptive in a 4 player matchup.  It just seems that this was really designed as a 4player game.
