It's kinda epic that they went as far back to 1995 and brought back Polygon Man (You are not red-e) but, I've often used him as an example of why Sony's ads sucked. He wasn't that bad but I always thought he was somebody they wanted to ignore. That's why they went with Sofia from Toshinden instead of him after a pretty short amount of time.
*edit* looking at the post above mine, maybe that was good advertising and my opinion just sucks.
