Unless it sells more then the 360 version, I dont know why Sony spends time trying to chip away at games that are more 360 centric. Battlefield also comes to mind. Waste in resources IMO.

But RE has lots of shooting, ergo it deserves to sell better on 360. Where as Battlefield is a shooter and AC is a sandbox game (also 360 turf).

Since when are sandbox games "360 turf"?
Some examples:
Sleeping Dogs, Just Cause 2(despite the first one not even being on PS3) have sold more on PS3
The saints row games sell slightly more on 360 now, GTAIV sold slightly more (but the PS3 version has been outselling it for years)
Sales for RDR are basically identical.

I also consider Red Dead Redemption, Fallout, and Oblivion/Skyrim as examples. RPGs but are sandbox games regardless.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
