Lol so true.
I was (and still am) poor as well.
The only games I've pirated were a few Dreamcast games (I picked a second hand one years after its death and it was impossible to find games in stores, Ebay prices were too much for me and it's not like Sega was going to get my money if I buy them in the second hand market).
This and a few years ago I softmodded my PS2 to be able to play games even if the laser dies, and I played a few games that weren't released in Europe like Tales of the Abyss (thanks Namco for not localizing a single PS2 Tales game) and Hokuto no Ken.
