Should Australia become a republic?

I don't see it happening until the Queen passes away. Charles has mentioned to Australia and Canada not to wait until he becomes King so....perhaps we should.

The 1999 Referendum was confusing, there was a lot of lobbying from John Howard to keep it the way it is. He probably wanted knighthood for it.
