Im all for using vgchartz to support things, but there is a line between using parts to support your argument and blindly following parts that have strong evidence that points to the contrary. Many games, in your case PS3 games, are undertracked on vgchartz. They should be higher but Im sure youd just take the number given to you and swear by it? Hope you see the point I am trying to make. But going back on the real topic, Halo 4 holding top spot at amazon, what is your real purpose in implying that Halo 4 preorders are below Halo 4? Doesn't change the thread title now does it? It seems to me, given your allegiance is to Sony, that by inferring that Halo 4 preorders are lower then Reach, that the series is in decline. This revelation would give someone of your persuasion some pleasure im sure. But let me point out these are preorder numbers that no PS3 exclusive can match, so im sorry to have to kick you off the anti Halo wagon. |
Oh no, I am not "blindly following" anything. Especially not VgChartz data. But like I said, VgChartz actually HAS DATA TO FOLLOW. BenVTrigger doesn't. He just says "This game is undertracked, trust me".
Many games on PS3 are undertracked? Yeah, I know. Some are overtracked as well, same goes for 360. What's your point? It has already been established that VgChartz is pure estimates.
Halo 4 pre-orders were tracking below Reach at the time that I wrote those comments. I was just pointing that out.
@bold
Allegiance to Sony? Nope. Preference? Yes.
Yes, the Halo series has been in decline ever since Halo 3, as the sales clearly point out. Halo Reach has yet to outsell Halo 3.(it has no chance). There is a good chance that Halo 4 won't outsell Reach especially with Black Ops 2 hitting 1 week from now and this generation being over within the year. Sorry, just an educated guess. Didn't mean to offend you.
You're right, no PS3 exclusive will match Halo 4 pre-orders, what's your point? How is this relevant to the discussion? Just pure flamebait. Reported.
