I don't get why Aquaman gets this and Namor doesn't. Namor pre-dates Aquaman, who if anything was a knockoff of the Sub-Mariner, but of course, far less morally ambiguous.

And of course, Aquaman's more powerful than the Sub-Mariner. That's why he beat him in DC vs Marvel: Namor had Aquaman on the ropes, and Aquaman just had a damn Killer Whale jump out and smoosh Namor.
