Personally I'm not a fan of assassination games, or games that require a lot of stealth, yet I'm a big Assassins Creed fan. I remember playing a demo for one of the Hitman games back on the PS2, and I just couldn't get into it. I remember back then if I was playing a game and it decided to go all 'stealthy' I would get pissed off, I just hated having to be 'stealthy', maybe it was due to a lack of patience as a kid. Assassins Creed changed that, well ACII to be precise, it had a real good mix of stealth and action. The setting, the story, and the characters all just appealed to me from the get go, and I never felt that they were going overboard with the stealth aspects, all round I just loved it.

Hitman: Absolution does look like a good game. Is it like a hardcore stealth game that's very strict, or is it a little more lenient like AC in terms of, yes, there's stealth aspects, but there's that freedom in regards to it not all being stealth.

Hitman: Absolution encourages you to play the stealth route to get the highest rating, but you can still go gun-blazing if you want to. It's not really like certain aspects are stealth and certain aspects are action. It's up to you. You can play the entire game using stealth, or you can play the entire game like using action. Or you could use stealth and settle for action when it gets to difficult.
