I agree...

It really freaked me out to here metacritic mentioned in a Nintendo Direct...

Companies should let the quality of a game speak for itself instead of trying to impress anyone (investors or consumers) with review scores...

It makes me wonder where the creator's satisfaction and the consumer's satisfaction fit into the formula...

What sacrifices are developers making for the sake of reviews???

The fact that we can have so many discussions on review scores only shows how important they've become...
