Halo 4 is more than coming up, it is debuting this Tuesday and Microsoft expects this game to make history like no other game has before.
In terms of development costs, everyone knows about this game being the most expensive in the history of Microsoft.
People know about the stunning visuals and maximum performance Halo 4 will crank out of the Xbox 360.
However, for those who are going to attend midnight releases around the country and world, you may not know just how major this is going to be.
According to a report from VG24/7 on Friday, Microsoft is expecting the launch of Halo 4 to be the biggest global entertainment launch of this year and perhaps of all-time.
The statement Microsoft sent out said, "10,000 worldwide game stores and general retailers are holding midnight launches to ring in the Halo 4 launch, that will 'spark midnight frenzy.'"
With many other major titles such as Assassin's Creed III, Dishonored and Borderlands 2 already in retailers, Halo 4 is looking to join them as an elite game and make its case for Game of the Year.
