I bought Darksiders 2 the week after it came out, I was really disappointed with it. I loved the first game, it was a classic old school style game, nothing outstanding but everything it did came together well. The sequel bored me terribly, the first world was entertaining, but once you leave the game really slows down in world two and almost grinds to a total halt, same for world 3. World 4 is better because of the characters in the chapter, but other than that it was far too slowly paced. The story was a good for a 9 hour game, but the game lasted 18 hours! Half the game nothing in the story changes and you're just on fetch quests for various NPC's :/
So overall, not a chance of GOTY for me.
