"age old' mechanics! I mean who would want to play the same formula twice?" Well with COD we have been playing with the same formula since 2007 and they gave MW3 a 9/10. And Halo 4 looks much different and better than Halo Reach and Halo 3. Therefore their points are highly irrelevant considering Halo 4 works on its own mechanics and doesn't need to copy COD in order to be considered to have new/fresh mechanics. Halo 4 may not be able to compare with Halo CE in terms of quality but it gave us something new and fresh in every installment and by watching gameplay videos of this in no way does Halo 4 give an impression of age old mechanics!
