Scores are highly subjective and not everyone is using the same scale of "85 is average", and even if they did, degrees of enjoyment are entirely relative. No one should be trashing a reviewer because he didn't enjoy the experience as much as the next guy, or didn't like how the game handled this or that aspect of play. I don't know about anyone else, but to me, the difference between an 88 and a 93 on Metacritic is pretty close to nil. All I care about is whether or not it sounds like a good game in general terms, which is why the WORDS in a review are so much more important than the numbers. Halo 4 sounds like a good game. Pretty much all the reviewers like it a lot and recommend it. That should be enough for anyone. |
I don't believe that is why everybody is upset. Everybody knows it's going to be an amazing game and when you hear the majority of the reviews saying it's the best halo yet but it has a lower score is upsetting people.
