It is great to see open software dominating the mobile platform, long may it continue.
Comparing Android to iOS isn't really fair though. They are far, far more accessible so any broke-arsed kid can afford one.
Fragmentation makes the aps a nightmare and unless you own a samsung or such they never work well. I know from experience.
The saying "Apple is for the rich" has a degree of truth in it. The rich have a lot more money to "waste" on aps.
Given a choice I would rather have shares in Apple's ridiculously profitable niche market over android even if android sold 2 billion units.
Toyota sells far more cars than Daimler but which car would I rather own or have shares with?
