How this matters though is in terms of app support from developers. If they see Android is dominating the market, they will of course start focusing more on that space than in the past. 

 

Android does have difficulties though doesn't it.  Be interesting to see revenue breakdown for developers from android v iOS.  I think iOS and W8 is where developers will want to be.  Uniformity is attractive. 

From what I see, WP7 wasn't that attractive to those developers.
