There is logic to it, if you care to think about it. Also, the Xbox will never be sucessful in Japan and europe in Sonyland. Microsoft pretty much maxed out their potencial this gen. The only way they can get more is if one of the other 2 mess up bad. |

In the early 1980's until the mid-80's, the MSX was the dominant PC standard in Japan. It was the standard created by Microsoft, using Microsoft custom components, a customized version of MS-DOS, and BASIC. Prior to Nintendo's introduction into game systems, it was the gaming system standard in Japan.
To say Microsoft will never be successful in Europe or Japan when they've shown they can be and have been in the past is silly.
