I consider $300 the optimal mass market price for a new console, but I don't see that happening with the PS4. Since Sony is going with a powerful but affordable box, I'd say $400 is the max they can go for the basic model. $450 for the deluxe. If Sony is smart maye they can eve squeeze out a $350 12gig on-board flash model right from the start.
