PS4 won't be a powerhouse, but will still be noticably more powerful than the WiiU, that's a given. I'd be really surpriced if Sony didn't fit it something like Ultra HD out port. I've heard that the dev kits don't have it, but this doesn't mean that they won't pack it in the end. I think it would be a winning move if they made the PS4 so that:
a) it puts out 1080p 60 fps 3D with DX 11 level graphics
b) it can be controlled by the Vita the way Wii U works with the same speed of reaction
c) it will be able to stream movies and games in Ultra HD from Gaikai in a couple of years, when the technology becomes common in Europe/America/Japan

Let's face it, Sony has always used a console launch to push its newest tech out on the market. I would be surpriced if they decided not to surprice us with the introduction on anything this time. I think they invested quite a lot of money in both Ultra HD and Gaikai. Such a console would be affordable, quite simmilar to the Wii U and future proof at the same time. They would be more or less on Wii U level but the ceiling would be at a totally different level. This could also help them make a move in their TV business, which is struggling like never before.
Do you think this is possible? Or smart? :)
