Beat it.

Too tired to tell you my biggest gripes (its 6am). But I can give you a number for the lulz...

Its weighing between a 6 or 7/10.

Fucking let down immensly. Good night.

Aww.... Don't say that.

Maybe your judgement is blurred by your marathon playthrough through the whole night?

Woke up.

Listen everyone, beat the game then come back.

The ending with Desmond is terrible and just a big ass slap in the face. The final ...moments with Connor is poorly done and a chase scene which is the final thing you do is poorly designed and horribly frustraighting. In general the motivation for it is just.. no.

There is no grey area when it comes to ..a certain sitatuation despite the game hinting at it because of a great tension and interaction going on between Connor and.. someone else (wont say for spoilers sake). But at the end, thats completely thrown out the window and its just played out so horribly.

Add that to the horrible ending of Desmond.. Ew.

With that said: I will ofcourse still hopp in and run around as Connor as the gameplay is fun, but fuck that story man.

Plus:
Connor and Haythan was a really nice story and to watch it unfold was interesting mostly.
Gameplay is by far the best in the series.
Really ambitious.
The sea missions are godly.
A pretty good soundtrack that makes you feel pumped.
Some really nice moments.

Cons:
The story in my opinion is a disaster. I feel the ending was just terrible.
Major annoyances in certain missions due to linear paths given that are poorly designed. (One chase scene in particular...)
Graphically inconsistant and lots of bugs/glitches and framerate dipps during very hectic moments.
The pacing feels a bit off. The game starts somewhat slow indeed but it always progresses until a point when you are Connor and it just goes terribly slow.
So many fetch missions.. so many.
The lack of assassin-esque feeling makes me somewhat sad. Altair and Ezio had this brotherhood or they were always following this certain "creed". This is pretty much non existant and the motivation for the final objective is just redundant and confusing.
The horses are terribly stiff and the missions in general could use a bit of variation.
Certain moments are not well written and never implied, infact its the opposite and you might find yourself go "Oh he knew that?".
In general it just feels like a very stressed out game.
