I'm a single-player first, co-op second, competitive multiplayer third kind of guy.
But I definitely see the trend moving toward online multiplayer, which makes me a little bit worried. I wish developers would invest more in local multiplayer games, like we see on the Wii U.
I think a lot of people wish local splitscreen would make a come-back. There's something really nice about playing a multiplayer game with friends in the same room. It's less isolating, there's more energy in the room, and you don't have to juggle all the selfish, foul-mouthed players that you typically find in an online arena.
