I think the real story here is not about review scores (which are very good anyways) but more importantly 343 proved that they can carry the franchise into the future. With having critical and the coming commercial success 343 can rest easy now knowing they haven't let the Halo fanbase down after Bungie left.
The real winner is the fans of this series as they know that Halo 5 and 6 is also in good hands.
