I think I came at this in a bad manner and we got into tangent and all we discussed were specific things that were based on old tech that isn't even used commonly anymore or something that is naturally lower in featureset as the device was never intended to be used in that manner; office, photoshop, core gaming, etc. They are different devices for different purposes. The apps on iOS/Android are designed for mobile experience without a keyboard or mouse. This means they will operate differently, even the same apps, and different does not equal lesser or "garbage". Let's take Office as an example. You stated, and I agreed, that MSOffice is more robust on Windows than GDocs is and, logically, what MSOffice will be on Android/iOS. However, that does not mean the mobile offering is "garbage". Its simply tailored for a different purpose and audience. At this point, tablets have not had true laptop/PC replacement intentions. OEMs simply never made it a realistic offer. At this point the purpose of a tablet was to be an accompanying device for media, web, games. Does that mean GDocs or the other MSOffice readers/editers were "garbage"? No. Just different and featured based on the intended use on a tablet/phone. i.e. viewing and minor editing. Android and iOS offer a vast array of apps and features that are better suited for that purpose. Mobile/casual gaming, media playback, traveling entertainment in general, email (voice > typing and far more convienant), skype, G+, taking pictures, netflix, groupon, twitter, navigation, ... there are also a ton of apps that are at worst identical to what's on the PC. Especially considering you can go to the exact same webpage, in desktop mode, and have the exact same experience. So, in the OP are three mobile offerings and on desktop offering. The mobile products have relatively close prices and similar OS experiences beyond preference. However, they are priced opposite of what the specs offer and its mind boggling why anyone would choose anything but the Nexus10. Then we have a desktop offering put into a tablet frame. It will be twice the price as the others for that desktop experience. If that's worth it for someone, then that's awesome. However, its specs are comparable to a moble offer that will be less than 1/2 its price and still have a great experience... certainly not "garbage". |

I would not describe my experience with either android or ios as great, I think you used a better word in quotes. You keep saying things like exact the same experience, when you have seen yourself that it isn't. I think your mind is just boggling because you might have a slight case of google bias.
