On your final point; yes Surface gives you 32Gb as standard for the same price as the 16Gb model of the iPad, but taking all things into considering, especially seeing as the Surface is running with a CPU/GPU which is the same as a Nexus 7 which is half the price really puts it into perspective.

In short, MS picked the wrong CPU/GPU for the Surface RT, they should have picked a better processor that would give it a bigger kick, so until the Surface PRO is released (and it's likely to be a fortune), the RT is essentially a wasted opportunity.

Also, please give real comparisons between RAM usage of OS/s (RT and iOS) before you assume, it really irritates me. Like when you said that A6X is four times more powerful than tegra 3 when you dont even have any numbers. 

Dont you think that tablets are casing the declineof PC salesover the years? Therefore it is safe to assume that the consumer are looking for more flexibility? IE more connections to external devices like ultrabooks and laptops do? 

And what do you mean that 9.7 is the 'perfect size'. It purely depends on preference. 

What do you mean they chosethe wrong CPU/GPU anyway? I dont see anything wrong with it as long as it functions prperly. 

Apple decided that 9.7 was the "perfect size" not me.

I can't find any information on Windows RT RAM usage, but iOS 6 will be less than 256Mb in size sitting in RAM at the most.

Graphically, look at the following scores in GLBenchmark for the Nexus 7 (I picked this as it's the same CPU/GPU), iPad 2 and iPad 3

GLBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD (Offscreen) - Nexus 7 - 1390 (12.3fps), iPad 2 - 1633 (14.5fps), iPad 3 - 3018 (26.7fps)

We don't have iPad 4 results yet, but Apple suggest it will be 2x the iPad 3, so in theory it should be around 4x more powerful than the Tegra 3.

I personally feel that Microsoft chose the wrong chip with Tegra 3 for their entry level Surface.  The chip works well with Android, but it seems to have issues with Windows RT that is all.
