There's so much talk here about the importance of Microsoft Office, ridiculous claims like everything but Microsoft Office not being suited for company environments etc.
So I'm starting to think it might be a good idea to point out in the table in the opening post that the Microsoft Office version on the Surface RT is a "home & student" version, which in comparison with the usual Microsoft Office versions is not only lacking popular applications like Access and Outlook, but is also missing certain features and support for a number of media types available in the x86 version, so there will be many office documents that don't work on Surface RT tablets even though they work fine on desktop PCs.
But by far the most important disadvantage is that this version is forbidden to be used in "commercial, nonprofit, or revenue-generating activities". Microsoft even particularly pointed this out in press statements. So one might even say that of these three ARM tablets, the one using Windows 8 is actually the only one not suited for work.
