Kinect must have given Xbox an extra 7-8m sales me thinks.
If you check X360 sales here (http://www.vgchartz.com/tools/hw_date.php?reg=Global&ending=Yearly) you can see that it was naturally declining after its 4th year, but then suddenly sales rose over 3m per year for the next two. Of course, some sales can also be attributed to the slim, but still.
If it had followed its natural course without the slim and Kinect it would be selling around 8m per year now. The bulk of the "extra" sales are in the holiday season too (it wasn't as seasonal before), another indication that Kinect is the main factor behind the sales bump.
EDIT: I don't know why the link doesn't work properly. Just change "weekly" to yearly and removed all consoles but X360 for clarity.
