Nexus 10 vs iPad4 vs Surface RT (battle of the tablets!)

Crap hardware...you're having a laugh surely.  Don't you realise that the CPU/GPU in the Surface RT is comparable with the A5 in the iPad Mini and iPad 2, we are now on the iPad 4, which has an A6X which is at least 4 times as powerful, also the cameras are better and the screen is significantly better.  As far as I can see it, the only good thing about the Surface RT is the way Windows 8 works.

I couldn't really find any A6x benchmarks compared to the tegra3 processor. 

But if youre going to compare cameras and screens. Well you'll see that Apple's true intentions are in its aesthetics. What about on the lack of RAM or on the lack of connections? Heck it doesn't even have a freaking USB port. And also what about having thesmallest screen out of the four tablets compared? Did they do this in purpose to increase the ever-so-important pixel density?

Not to mention Surface does offer double the storage in the same price. Not to mention free office. 

Wait a minute here....when people buy a tablet are they looking for an ever expanding device that lets them plug in external devices?  No they are not.  The whole point of a tablet is that it's a single part device and is easy to carry about.  As someone posted above, the small amount of RAM in the iPad isn't really a problem as the OS doesn't rape the memory to operate, so yes it would be nice to have 2Gb, but it's not essential.

Do you know that Windows RT uses around 6GB of space, so if MS released a 16GB model, only about 10Gb would be available.

With regards to the size of the screen; the iPad started the whole thing off and Apple decided that 9.7" was the perfect size for a tablet.  It's great that MS and Google preferred a slightly bigger screen, but does it make it more portable?

On your final point; yes Surface gives you 32Gb as standard for the same price as the 16Gb model of the iPad, but taking all things into considering, especially seeing as the Surface is running with a CPU/GPU which is the same as a Nexus 7 which is half the price really puts it into perspective.

In short, MS picked the wrong CPU/GPU for the Surface RT, they should have picked a better processor that would give it a bigger kick, so until the Surface PRO is released (and it's likely to be a fortune), the RT is essentially a wasted opportunity.
