I finished the game. It was very pretty and great fun to drive but also very short.
The map starts the feel very small once you unlock the faster cars, which is pretty soon. The longest point to point distance is just under 17 miles, and the final big race all the way around the map lasts less then 10 minutes.
The day night cycle is nice but not very practical for racing. Headlights don't turn on until very late and all the cars only carry city lights. No high beams, so you're pretty much racing by mini map at night. No reflective road paint or any reflectors either to mark the roads. Numerous times I've slammed into the median on the highway at one of the completely unmarked exits. You think you're safely changing lanes, and suddenly you're stopped. Sure there are ways around it, external view, pump up the brightness or turn on the driving line, but that ruins the aesthetics.
Hopefully there will be a sequel with a bigger map and improved night time driving. Maybe some weather too.
I wonder what the sales are. The leader boards seem to be a bit above 200k entries atm, no clue if that's global or regional.
