Nope applets don't work either. However, that tech is going the way of the dodo and honestly I never see these anymore. Like Flash, its just being dropped from web technologies.

It still seems to me that you are just not the right use case for tablet. SurfacePro will likely fit your lifestyle better, but again... going back to your post I originally quoted. Its not black and white like that. all the apps and such are not garbage as compared to windows (full version). Only differense are going to be with old tech, niche tech, high-end professional applications, console games.... the last two are slowly being mitigated as the mobile market begins to replace the desktop experience.

Especially as these tablets become more associated with laptops and the business user begins to jump in.


Well, too bad... I hoped that you had a magic solution for that.

But I take this as you are admitting that you were wrong. I did not say all the apps, I said usually. Those are the programs I use and their "app" counterparts are just garbage as we agreed on.
