Windows gaming is always better than ios/android. Why? Because you can play those games you already own for example on steam AND you can use that onlive-thingy. Just plug 360 pad or mouse to your usb port and quess what, you are good to go.

Most of those videos are a) too big to send or b) not for your eyes. For streams, you can go to a wiziwig site. Google it, I am not going to give a link because I am not sure if that is against the rules.

 

Of course I am going to do some work with my tablet, why wouldn't I? You are once again, telling me what I need and don't need. Are you really that narrowminded? Surface pro works with mouse and keyboard, you knowz? It also works as a tablet, omgz!

NOW you can have Google Docs which does fully edit and save back as any MsOffice item. You can also have bluetooth and dock keyboards. MSOffice on Android comes in November I believe.

Onlive is there now on android with PS3/Wii/or360 controls as options. Sure Steam and PC games are not, but they won't work on the Surface RT either... and honestly, many PC games won't run well on Pro based on those specs either. Any PC gamer wouldn't even consider it.

So the videos are illegal non-mass market stuff and therefore irrelevant. I use it for pron and tons of other videos all the time. You're just nitpicking a niche market. However, I'll google it when not at work and try anyways. I'm betting it will work fine as the Chrome browser on Android has yet to let me down on anything.

Surface Pro is intended to be a laptop/hybrid device. Its also going to be $800 to $1000. I'm considering a $400 tablet. Completely different. Pro wasn't even part of this thread originally and only brought in as one person kept saying to compare it. So I did, and aside from legacy PC software, Nexus10 blows it away as it does the rest especially after considering its at least 1/2 the price and probably more.

If I was going to consider a $800-$1000 laptop, then yes I'd look at Pro as well as many of the other hybrid style laptops shown off just a few days ago. For my needs I'm actually considering the $250 Chromebook just announced with identical specs as the Nexus10. Just hit the Chrome Web store to see what all it can or cannot do.

Google docs isn't as good as ms office. I am no expert with it, but when I have edited my office documents with it, it has messed them up. Also it did not have all the functions which ms office has. Just carbage compared to ms office.

Of course I am nitpicking, as I said all the videos don't work. In fact I said  "there are always some lame codec which won't work on any player or it works with software decoding and is choppy as hell". Now you are talking about mass market stuff, which proves my point. Carbage, can't play all the videos.

Do that, test the streams and tell me did you get all of them working. I'll be waiting.

Yes, surface pro is just that. Complete package, unlike other tablets on this thread.
