I never set my expectations high, but it is good for multimedia use and simple things. I've used the Eyetoy and the Kinect  and to me its just a more powerful version of it that was hyped to be more. Because Sony always has 1st pick and is a proper judge of product success? lol wake up this aint the PS2 days when Sony had great judgement. Given Move specific games equally bomb review wise (see above post) BOTH casual and core, Id say that Kinect has more potential then Move and Sony have no idea whats good for themselves and others. That theory is way more plausable then yours.

They saw it as no different or ambitious than what they were doing. It just controls multimedia and is more powerful than their last version, thats all and yes Sony was contacted first and turned the prototype down.

Sony R&D basically confirmed that the Kinect was not capable of various genres much like the Eyetoy wasn't so they moved on,  which is why they focused more on internal innovations based on more intuitive tracking and controlling the 3D space.

Ok....yet how come Move specific games......made by Sony, tend to bomb on metacritic. I refer you to Playstation move Heroes, Medieval Moves, and Sorcery barely making the 70 cut. Your so convinced that move is better tech yet you blindfold yourself to the facts that Sony couldnt get any decent games out of the thing.

Move has had less quality games then Kinect. Fact. Unless you bring in hybrid Move titles but I think thats beside the point since its just a tacked on option.

You really didn't disprove that Sony really has no idea whats right for them anymore, turning down kinect was an extremely stupid move..... I hope you can see that.
