Name just one thing that America and the E.U could cut to start getting back on track financially

The E.U. is maybe to big to name it as one. Not plenty but their are countries/members of the E.U. who are doing good and half of them are getting on the right track. It is that a few countries doing that horrible (PIGS) that makes it in general so bad.
