I do agree that some of the plotlines make much more sense when you think about them. I still say that Anakin's turn to the dark side was masterfully executed, even if it looks kind of stupid at first glance.


Perhaps, but I'm more willing to make concessions on these terms for modern action/adventure movies (even more those based off books and the like) because there's so much going on and there's just so much coherence, proper pacing and explanation you can fit on two hours or so. Maybe it's a flaw of the directors and producers, maybe that's indeed all you can get in the medium. I'm not going to pass judgement on this one.

Of course I'm not saying too the prequels are on par with the other Star Wars or they should carry on exempt of criticism. Just that I can still enjoy them for what they are without my head hurting too much.
