Yeah, some of the characters are a problem specially Jar Jar Binks. Even today I still watch the movies dubbed because the characters do sound much better in portuguese than in english, so perhaps that's a part of why I have enjoyed them more than what they are worthy, or why they are perceived as worse than they actually are on the originals... take your pick.

I really don't mind Jar Jar that much at least he had a character even if it was annoying. The rest were a boring flat line specially Padme that even sounds like a robot.
