That's what i've thought. Thrawn Trilogy as episode 7, Dark Empire or the Jedi Academy Trilogy as episode 8 (or something combining the better elements of the two and shedding the worse parts, like the whole "Palpatine never died" thing, or the plot black hole that was Kyp Durron), and the Hand of Thrawn duology as episode 9.
@ Kain Kusanagi. No Legacy of the Force. Leave those novels buried in the dung-heap of poorly-implemented Star wars spinoffs. No Yuuzhan Vong either. Better to leave it that that never happened.
