Well, it's not going to grow the franchise by a significant amount as AC is already so big. AC II was the peak, and even that hasn't reached 10 million on PS360 after three years (it's at 9.93 million according to VGC).

 The Wii U release means very little. I'd think it will eventually crawl past 1 million but that's it.

I imagine with the PC version AC2 did sell over 10 mil copies. Wii U, I think all bets are off for the moment.
