I like Windows 8 and I also like the direction MS is taking with tablets. I will wait for Surface Pro though as I would like to use Windows softwares.
I don't understand those who want this to fail... merging tablets and laptops in one fully functioning device is where the world is going and the way Apple is going by limiting users is only temporary. Microsoft is going to be first in this area and they offer the openess Apple can't provite... yea keep sticking to your awful iTunes and proprietary "usb"... once people realise they can do wahtever they do on their computer they can on the pro tablet be sure it'll fly like PCs are flying off shelves.
I don't care about the RT version as I think it won't stay on the market forever, to me it's a bit less useless than an iPad because it has a usb and office but once the Pro is out and all those companies making their pro tablets at competitive prices then laptops and tablets will be obsolete in a few years.
