Nintendo's "influence" is far less than Microsoft's was at the time, because Microsoft actually had a lot of money to burn. If Nintendo are not willing to do that, they aren't going to get everything. Seeing as Bayonetta 2 was hyped as something extremely major, it seems to me like Nintendo just don't want to spend that much. The thing going against Nintendo is their 3rd party history as well. Wii has a huge userbase, but that didn't guarantee huge sales, did it? |
What games were to sell huge on the Wii? You make the same comments as every other Ninty hater. What was suppose to sell gangbusters on the Wii? It never got any major 3rd party support to begin with. We could say Monster Hunter which did better than its PS2 counterpart but is that a fair comparison? No just like comparing Conduit's sales to CoD on 360 is unfair. I like how comparing CoD on Wii to CoD on 360 is fair, even though CoD got popular on 360 and PS3 when the Wii didn't get it. But its not fair to compare PS2 MH to Wii MH because MH got popular on PSP. The point is the "major" 3rd party support the Wii got wasn't major at all. Just labeled major because its all Ninty got to begin with. This is why we should only compare major Wii games to major 360 games. Ofcourse thats not fair because Ninty isn't a fair comparison lol.
P.S. Its fanboys that hyped Bayonetta so nice try. The meltdowns is where the hype came from.
