So far I am having a lot of fun playing this. Playing through Leon's campaign, and portions of it feel like the old Resident Evils. Playing a part of Chris', it feels like Resident Evil 5, which I enjoyed. Additionally, the game does present a good challenge. I am playing it like I would with other Resident Evils, where I do my best to conserve ammo early on.
There are fustrating moments such as times when the melee attacks do not seem to connect well, getting behind cover or times where it is really difficult to avoid an instant kill event, unless you knew it was coming. In the end, all that matters is that I am having fun. I would give it a 9 to 9.5 out of 10 and would recommend that people try it for themselves. Some may like, while other may not, but I hope more people look at the good reviews over the bad ones.
