When it was Overstrike, it looked like they were going for coop with an emphasis on humor. That is the territory of Borderlands, so it looks like they backed off from that. And with backing off from that, they wade into the territory of attempting to make a more serious shooter. Who knows how it will turn out now.
If someone is going to jump in and say here: BORDERLANDS HAS NOTHING IN COMMON WITH FUSE! BORDERLANDS IS AN FPS, WHILE FUSE IS A THIRD-PERSON SHOOTER! I will say "Stuff it". Reality is that Third-person shooters and FPS involving lining up crosshairs, aiming and shooting and have sufficient crossover from a market standpoint, that Fuse and Borderlands compete.
