You dont get it do you. It does more than ant tablet on the market.

It doesn't do more than other tablets.  You do know that there are very good Office apps for the iPad and keyboard attachments/cases? Also iPad can print too...there are many manufacturer direct apps as well as uiversal ones that allow the iPad/iPhone to print to any printer. (Breezy for example)

Seriously though, you will get it once you start using your Surface. You can not live in 'Metro' in Windows 8. Metro has no proper file explorer, no copy/paste, no ability to open USB's. With Surface RT you will end up using a gimped PC-like tablet but with no legacy PC support.

You already sound like a perfect Win RT customer that Microsoft hopes we all are, and even you will run in to issues with Windows RT. Wait till you get your first .rar or.7zip file to unzip and realize you can't do anything with it.

Lastly to everyone saying "apps are coming".  They are but so what? People have bought their apps on other platforms, why would they want to rebuy them on Win 8? Some people like myself have to rebuy the exact same apps on Windows 8 as we bought on Windows Phone. That's just greedy. That's just greedy. If Windows 8 interface wasn't so awesome and it didn't have Windows legacy support, I'd never use Windows again.

Not to mention Win RT will have less Metro apps than x86 as a lot of them can not run on lower end ARM hardware (think high end Games, metro tax software, photoshops...). Also some devs will just not want to make Win RT apps. You like Google search? Google Maps? Forget about having an RT app. Win 8 x86 only...
