1. The Kinect is not compared to the Wiimote because the Wiimote is actually a useful controller that is compatible with more or less 99% of Wii games out there. The Kinect is a peripheral that is compatible with less than ten percent of the X-Box's library and that is a very generous estimate.

2. Being able to control the system with the Kinect does not make it a primary controller. I can control my Wii with a Classic controller or a Guitar hero guitar. I could control my X-Box 360 with a set of rock band drums. I can control my PS2 with a DDR Mat. I can control my Gamecube with a Madcatz Arcade stick. And so on so forth.

3. Who's comparing the Kinect to the Balance Board? I don't get the logic of this topic. "The Kinect shouldn't be compared to the balance board so we should compare it to the Wii Remote." What is this... I don't even...

4. The Kinect shouldn't be compared to the Wii Remote or the Balance Board. It should be compared to a koosh ball. It's interesting to play with for about five minutes until you realize it's useful and throw it away.
