PS2 will remain the best selling console of all time by the end of this gen

The Ps2 will be the best selling home console of all time forever imo
but the DS IS a console and will remain as the best selling portable and console of all time
how is the DS not a console?
so if i took one of those modded GCs or N64s to be portables they would instantly stop being a console?
