If he has $5 million to donate, where the hell did he get it from?  Annual wage for the president is just $400k.

He's no Romney, but he's pretty wealthy, isn't he?  I know he's given millions already.  Have we actually had a modern president who wasn't already wealthy before becoming elected?

Well depending on your definition of wealthy anyway...  The Clintons were under 1 million before elected as i recall.

Jimmy Carter was actually kind of a buisness failure... he was in deep debt I beleive... which I think was reflected in his handling of the US Economy.

Gerald Ford was in public service and poor until he left the presidency.  (must of been honest.)
