The Wii would have tanked earlier had Nintendo not cut the price, but price cuts kept sales going strong until 2011. Had Nintendo cut the Wii's price in 2011, then they likely would have continued to sell strongly. However, they didn't.
Kinect helped the Xbox 360, but it isn't what hurt the Wii. I agree with someone else, the Move had little impact, positive or negative, with PS3 sales.
