5. Halo Trilogy
I was just moved by these games... Scream whatever you wantn about the Halo-hype, but I think those games are really amazing!

4. Metroid Prime
Revolutionairy. Retro Studios succesfully reanimated a dead franchise into one of Nintendo's finest.

3. Super Mario Galaxy
Just pure fun. Amazing graphics(some of the best this gen yet- even though it's on Wii), incredibly fresh feeling overall, but still feeling like an old Mario game. It's amazing variety and quality make this my favorite platform game ever.

2. Half-Life 2
Legendary FPS. The story is fantastic, as well as the atmosphere. Combined with awesome gameplay, Gordon Freeman's second adventure is one of my favorites.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Both Metacritic and Gamerankings have OoT has the game with the highest review average. I can't help but agree with them. With the critics. This game is flower of modern videogaming's plant. Miyamoto's masterpiece. Best game in the legendary Zelda franchise.
