I hope Apple fatigue sets in soon. Both Samsung and MS have cell phones and tablets respectively that trump Apple products on price and functions.

This is a unique situation where people literally love a corporation that takes advantage of them with overpriced products and frequent updates (with minimal improvements).

I agree to an extent, especially with MS, as their WP OS is very cool, and different, which is what we need.  Unfortunately Samsung's OS is just an iOS clone and in all honesty, most people would go with an iPhone over a Galaxy...although the S3 is a great phone.  I recently got a Nokia Lumia WP and it's great and a good difference from all the icon lozenge based systems out there (ie iOS and Android).

I doubt there will ever be Apple fatigue, but honestly reckon we are seeing iOS fatigue now and it won't be long before Apple need to do something about it.

I'm not sure I agree with your comment about Samsung & MS have phones and tablets that trump Apple products on price and functions.  Yes, the S3 is technically better than the iPhone 4S, but is it better than the 5.  And with the new iPad 4, is there a tablet on the market that has similar features technically?  Retina Screen, Front and Rear Camera, CPU/GPU?  Not yet, but maybe soon.

Are you referring to the New Ipad or is this yet another unreleased iteration?

I heard that the Surface has slightly better resolution, a usb port, and MS office integrated. That alone can set it apart in functionality.
