So, the A5 with its  512 MB miserable RAM is better than Tegra 3 and 1GB RAM?  Or 1024x768 display is infact "retina" compared to the 1280x800 display or 1440x900? Now people can't see pixels when it goes above 163 PPI and 216 or 243 PPI is unnecessary? Crappy multitasking and 5 years old interface equals a better OS? Seriously,  where is the "BLATANTLY OBVIOUS" part?

I can go on but no  need really. After reading this post you will still think that Ipad mini will be better than the competition even specwise and prepare a post about the camera.

I agree that the Nexus 7 does have a better screen resolution and has 1Gb RAM compared to 512MB on the iPad mini...but in fact the A5 with built in custom GPU is more powerful than the Tegra 3.  The OS is down the individual, but the concensus is that iOS is better than Android....the only mobile OS that comes close and is getting really good is WP.  I hate all the clone OS provided by Android.  Don't get me wrong, the Nexus 7 is a decent machine at a great price...but with regards to sales, there will be no contest.  What you may be forgetting is, who really wants to do Multitasking using a tablet?  The general tablet audience don't want to do that.  Yeah it would be nice, but what are you gonna do on a tablet that requires great multitasking?

Actually quick question?  Do you own a Nexus 7 by any chance?  Or some other tablet?

The CPU and RAM is quite better in the Nexus, The GPU is quite a bit better in Ipad. So that makes it a more powerful SOC. OK. LOL what consensus? If you read reviews pretty much every single one of them say that the OS is now in need of a big revamp. Unless you love the maps introduced in the IOS 6, of course. It is not like we need to see reviews anyway. Rows with static icons and the need of 4-5 taps to change the basic settings is not the definition of a better OS. I don't even go into the clone OS argument, so much crap.

The only thing Ipad Mini is good at is apps. Not the amount of it because 90% of them are useless and never gets downloaded. But the amount of tablet optimized apps are good. No contest at that.

I don't have a Nexus 7 or any other tablet. I owned an Ipad 1 for a few months quite a bit ago though. I despise them. If I ever need one (which won't happen probably) I'd only consider one that has a good OS with good multitasking and it is Windows. Though they are very expensive and I wouldn't bother with them as well at the moment. Chromebook has promise but the OS needs to get better and it isn't available at where I live.
