It's not totally awful, but it's not very well-researched and it comes off as incomplete. I would have liked to see more evidence, more hypotheses, more acknowledgement of Nintendo's next-gen offering. In fact, in the last paragraph the author doesn't even mention Nintendo. He only writes, "Sony is going to have to really fix up any and everything currently wrong with the PS3, and really listen to us on what we want for their next console. Their exclusives and first party roster will only go so far in supporting their platforms."
The entire article presupposes the eighth generation will be Sony vs. Microsoft for first place. That's fine, I guess, but I would like to see some reasons why he believes such a thing.
