" Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports were the only two games that have ever been able to make any head way with the device."

If they meant sales, there were a few Kinect games that sold really well. Dance Central, for one.
If they meant gameplay, The Gunstringer, Dance Central, and Child of Eden seem like great games, to me. My opinion, though.

And, if I were willing to take the time, I could find the thread where I said that no Kinect or Move game would EVER sell more than a million units. My argument: Kinect and Move are just accessories. They aren't just competing against other Kinect/Move games. The are competing against the entire Xbox 360/PS3 Library! The same guy that bought a Kinect to play Dance Central also has to choose between Halo Reach.

I don't know who the author is but he is wrong. As a peripheral, Kinect took expectations and blew them away! Look back at your Eyetoys, your Super Scope 6's, your Wii Balance Boards, you Dance Dance Revolution mats, etc. When it comes to peripherals, Kinect sits at the top of the mountain when it comes to support, sales, and impact. Show me the person that thought a peripheral was going to kill the Wii and I'll show you a mad man. The author is just making shit up.

You made just as much stuff up as him. As a peripheral Kinect got out done by the Balance Board research is your friend. Wii fit along side Mario kart and Smash pushed the Wii to heights the 360 could only dream of. Like when the Wii shipped like 26 million consoles in the 2008 to 2009 fiscal year, the same year Wii fit launched. The Balance Board sits at the top of the mountain of peripherals lol. The Balance Board had more impact and sales. You should research things before you post. How can Kinect have more sales when it hasn't even outsold Wii fit?

You thought you were just going to talk smack behind the back of d21 at 2am and I wasn't gonna know?  Im everywhere, son!  So how many games suppport Wii Fit?  Kinect has more.  Wii fit sold extremely well but kinect is still the fastest selling gaming hardware of all time.  Kinect will still be selling this Christmas when Wii Fit is dead in the water.  Line up your handful of wii fit titles next to your mountain of kinect titles and tell me which one moved more software.  Microsoft is reportedly launching a Kinect 2.0.  Is Nintendo making a Balance board 2.0?  seems like Kinect has made a bigger immpact on the industry, eh?  You can talk about Wii sales in '08-'09 but that was the year wii software came into its own.  I'm at work right now but I'll make the thread in the morning.  Kinect vs. Wii Balance board.....unless you want to make it right now.

Lol this is funny. You said how many games support Wii Fit? Wii Fit is a game lol. Anyways thats irrelevant, you would think with all that support it wouldn't still be below the Balance Board. I hope Ninty annouces how many Balance Boards they have sold, so we can compare it to how many Kinect sensors have been sold. Pretty sure the Balance Board is pushing like 30 million, like 10 million more than Kinect. Kinect is the fastest selling and is still behind. Wii Fit U releases early next year so fail on it being dead in the water. More proof of Kinect being a failure is how it needed a price cut during its second Christmas. Wii Fit is still $99 to this day and its been 4 years. Kinect is a different kind of peripheral obviously it was made to have software(which sells like crap may I add) while the Balance Board was made to support one game(Wii Fit) and yet it still sold more and didn't flop anywhere. Kinect should be compared to the Wii remote, of course you wouldn't want that though. The fact that the Balance Board and Kinect have probably sold around the same amount of software is sad lol. Ninty doesn't need a Balance Board 2.0 lol. Bigger impact of the industry my ass, Wii Fit got developers making fitness games while Kinect got developers porting Wii games to Kinect lol. What does your bolded statement even mean? The Balance Board is definitely bigger than Kinect, whether you like it or not.

Didn't mean to call the balance board "Wii Fit" in that one instance.  I'll give you the reply you deserve when i get to my PC. :)
