" Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports were the only two games that have ever been able to make any head way with the device."

If they meant sales, there were a few Kinect games that sold really well. Dance Central, for one.
If they meant gameplay, The Gunstringer, Dance Central, and Child of Eden seem like great games, to me. My opinion, though.

And, if I were willing to take the time, I could find the thread where I said that no Kinect or Move game would EVER sell more than a million units. My argument: Kinect and Move are just accessories. They aren't just competing against other Kinect/Move games. The are competing against the entire Xbox 360/PS3 Library! The same guy that bought a Kinect to play Dance Central also has to choose between Halo Reach.

I don't know who the author is but he is wrong. As a peripheral, Kinect took expectations and blew them away! Look back at your Eyetoys, your Super Scope 6's, your Wii Balance Boards, you Dance Dance Revolution mats, etc. When it comes to peripherals, Kinect sits at the top of the mountain when it comes to support, sales, and impact. Show me the person that thought a peripheral was going to kill the Wii and I'll show you a mad man. The author is just making shit up.

You made just as much stuff up as him. As a peripheral Kinect got out done by the Balance Board research is your friend. Wii fit along side Mario kart and Smash pushed the Wii to heights the 360 could only dream of. Like when the Wii shipped like 26 million consoles in the 2008 to 2009 fiscal year, the same year Wii fit launched. The Balance Board sits at the top of the mountain of peripherals lol. The Balance Board had more impact and sales. You should research things before you post. How can Kinect have more sales when it hasn't even outsold Wii fit?
